Goal Directed Content Integration
Who owns the meme, she who creates it or he who inherits it? Peaceful Internationalism? Why Not? Can It Be Inherited? How about this: Content that tells a story is easiest to identify with, especially if the story relates to something the hearer is familiar with. Remember: Rocky Mountain High, Ruby don't take your love to town, Heartbreak Hotel, Going Fishing, High Noon, downers mostly but these I remember, I could identify with them a little and based on the little I did identify with I repeated them over and over sometimes letting them go on automatic for hours at a time. Rap music does something similar, a short repetitive chant, used as affirmation to program the individual repeating it to act on the scenario included within the chant. I like the "World Music Rap", particularly the kind that comes out of Toronto.. reminds me a little bit of Chicago Style Word Jazz from the 1940s and 50s, that style that provided the platform for the Beat Poetry and Jazz performances of Night Club, Concert, Radio and Television, but then I am an oldster no longer a hipster, never a flipster... It's all good... Almost all country and western tells an easy to identify with story, "Wasted Days and Wasted Nights", "I"ll be there when the last teardrop falls." "I didn't know God made honkey tonk angels". "Coal Miners Daughter". "The Purple People Eater", "You saw me crying in the chapel."How much is that doggy in the window?" Integrating the language, the music, the dance, voice gesture, rhythm and all leads to new forms what it's gonna take now? Where to go, are idiots in charge or is it just that old demon to much time and too little imagination? The Libertarian Revolution... high time.. just three trombones lead the parade.. first comes non-aggression principle "Everyone has the right to be free from the coercive actions of others", next comes jury nullification "A jury has the right and the responsibility to judge both the law and the facts" don't forget if you should screw up you need both otherwise you might not get out if tyranny tries to prevail. Then third, "Each person is in charge of his or her very own values" when you meet someone new the proper interaction is barter and exchange, you identify, trade, mix and match until every party to the exchange is satisfied and until no one is damaged by any of the transactions. So how to show this principle in an integrated form, a form that will promote peaceful internationalism and at the same time keep one's own home safe and secure. I been thinking about maybe one story where a person gets arrested for a bum rap, maybe a victimless crime and then when he finally gets into court he gets extremely eloquent and the jury nullifies the case, deciding, not guilty on account of the law being wrong. Maybe a rewrite and paraphrase of the story "The Devil and Daniel Webster" by Steven Vincent Benet. Reduce it to a short and pithy. right to the heart of the matter, got off due to jury nullification. I think Kenny Rogers sang a song about that, maybe it was called "The Devil Went Down To Georgia."
