Awakening To Infinite Time

I am coming more and more to the view that the brain being a logic machine returns to us data that is consistent with our primary and secondary assumptions and ignores other details which are not constistent with those assumptions.

An example: The child after learning that the things around her are not always present to her perception asks the question "Mommy where did I come from?" and thus is set the conditions of existence for all time. The first assumption, that one has not always existed and the second assumption, that someone or something knows better than oneself the most elemental details about oneself.

What if instead the child had asked... "Mommy, where did you come from?" This presents a different set of assumptions, first that oneself is primary and that secondary events are expected to explain themselves so that one can understand the nature of those events.

A conclusion developed from the above contrasts makes it obvious that as far as I can know from direct experience I have always existed and that things external to me may or may not be of the same nature as myself.

Well that's nice... what comes next?
